The Daikin MC55W Purifier is small enough to fit on your desk, yet powerful enough to remove 99% of dust, pollen, smoke, odors, mold and pet hair. The MC55W model was tested by the Institut Pasteur de Lille and based on the results it was confirmed to remove 99.98% of human HCoV-229E coronavirus in 2 and a half minutes of operation at "turbo" speed in laboratory conditions (hermetic chamber with an internal volume of 1.4 m3, without air renewal). The human coronavirus HCoV-229E is different from the virus responsible for COVID-19, SARS-CoV-2, but belongs to the same family of coronaviruses.
